Free online image utilities that process photos directly in your browser.
Our image tools are built around a simple privacy promise: your photos never leave your device. Every resize, crop, filter, or colour sample runs on your own hardware using the HTML canvas API. That keeps sensitive images, client work, and personal photos off the cloud. You can batch-resize for social media, extract a brand palette from a screenshot, pick an exact pixel colour from a product shot, or convert SVGs to PNGs for platforms that do not accept vector files. For most tasks we support common formats including JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF. If you have worked with Photoshop or GIMP you will find the controls familiar; if you have not, the sensible defaults mean you can usually get the output you want in a single click.
Frequently asked questions
- Are images uploaded to your server?
- No. Every image tool processes photos entirely in your browser. Files are never transmitted, logged, or stored by simpletool.io.
- What image formats are supported?
- JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, and SVG for most tools. A few specialised tools add HEIC/HEIF and AVIF support where browser support exists.
- Will resizing reduce quality?
- Downscaling is near-lossless for most photos. Upscaling always introduces blur because pixels are interpolated. Use JPEG quality controls to balance file size against fidelity.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Limits depend on your device memory rather than our service. Most modern laptops handle images up to about 50 megapixels without trouble.
